Amazing sunsets. Roadrunner Ridge is our third campsite. It is a west facing campsite with views all the way to the coast. Rolling fields of barley, grazing cattle and miles of vineyard stretch out before you. And in the distance; the Santa Lucia Mountains. Unplug and relax in the shade and watch as red tail hawks soar above and the grain dances in the wind. Hike the ranch or go wine tasting at one of the 13 nearby wineries on the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail – just be back in time to watch the sunset. The heavy canvas wall tent rests under a shade fly and is furnished with a queen size bed and luxury bedding. It has flap doors and screens on both door and side windows. There is ample room to stand and move During winter months it is equipped with a propane space heater for chilly Paso nights. We provide a fire-ring, charcoal grill and propane campstove. Additionally there is hot and cold water for soaks in the cattle trough tub, perfectly positioned to watch the magnificent sunsets.
